From an Autopsy of a Mother, a Bear and a Fridge but Deborah Light.
I work with and support the development of Contemporary dance in Wales. I work regularly with Jones the Dance (Formally Gwyn Emberton Dance) and with Choreographer Deborah Light and sometimes with Light, Ladd and Emberton. I am also producer for a new company, BANDO! whose first Production Y Llyn combines music, Contemporary Dance and Bilingual storytelling - weaving Welsh/English and Welsh/French.
With Jones the Dance I have worked on a complex interactive film project that toured the length and breadth of Wales. in 2022-23 I stepped in as Executive Producer to cover adoption leave and supported the company through a portfolio funding application and secured significant project funds. For the past 2 years I have been leading on the development of their Young company which encompasses Jones Bach in rural mid Wales and Quiet Beats, which works with D/deaf young people in South Wales. I am currently also working with them on the ambitious iCoDaCo (International Contemporary Dance Collective) project which collaborates with 12 collectives from across Europe.
For the last two years I have been working with the wonderful Deborah Light, and am currently producing her upcoming production of an Autopsy of a Mother a Bear and a Fridge which will tour in May 2025.
